GATSBY & GUINNESS
THANKSGIVING WITH FRIENDS

Two of my favorite characters are breaking bread with the friends
that they are so thankful for this holiday season.

SPIRITUAL ART

I recently renewed my relationship with the Lord and I was baptized and in honor of my spiritual awakening I am going to incorporate more and more spiritual art as my way of spreading good will towards others.

INTRODUCING MAXWELL & MAISIE!

Maxwell & Maisie are two Old English Sheepdogs who are very fond of cold weather, as you can imagine since they have such wonderful coats! They are my 2013 Winter characters and I have some fun times planned for them!

TOPHAT SUGAR

TOPHAT SUGAR

I am doing a few sugar skulls this weekend, and this one is Tophat Sugar. She is chillin' with her stogie and is available on Ebay for a song! Check her out!

Sugar Weeps

SUGAR
A weeping sugar skull.

Sugar is a sugar skull, and she is weeping for all the loved ones we have lost in death. She was inspired by The Day of the Dead festival in Mexico. During the festival sugar skulls are a confection made by local artisans and it is in danger of becoming a lost art. Read more about this fascinating tradition here.

WIDE-EYED FRIENDS

I am introducing some new characters who will be keeping company with Guinness and Gatsby, my favorite Chinese Crested characters. The cat is Smudge, a tuxedo kitty, but for Halloween he is sporting all black fur, and his little mouse friend is Boomer. There is a picture book in the works with all of these characters so stay tuned!
